Susan started with Churchbridge Credit Union in February, 1993 as a casual Member Services Representative, moving to her current Accounting Assistant position in 2011. Susan will be retiring this April with 25 years Credit Union experience.
While you may not see Susan often, she is very busy keeping us on track behind the scenes. She is responsible for balancing cheques, card transactions, ATM balancing and reloading, reconciling many internal accounts, and so much more!
Susan stated some of her more memorable experiences with the Churchbridge Credit Union have to do with NOT having to do statements in-branch, or manually filing and sorting cheques. She fondly remembers receiving her 5, 10, 15, 20 and soon to be 25 year service pins.
She finds it rewarding to help members in any way, big or small.
She says the best part of her job is the friendly, good humored co-workers, along with the familiar local members always wearing a smile! It’s a local business that keeps our community going, which is hard to do in a small, rural town.
Susan is proud to work for the local financial institution, where we actually do care for our members and the employees, with lots of teamwork and volunteer hours put into serving our community. Her favorite volunteer work is the June Dayz BBQ, which she has proudly participated in since 1997, and the cookie baking for the annual Cookie Walk every year since 2008.
