Lois began her Credit Union career in June 2009 as an MSR, and accepted the Loans Officer Trainee after 18 months. Before coming to the Credit Union, Lois worked in the Animal Health field: she has her diploma in Veterinary Technology and Bachelors Degree in Agriculture, majoring in Animal Science.
Lois is currently a Loans Officer II in the Churchbridge Branch, where she primarily focusses on Agricultural and Commercial Lending. She also works with members for Residential Mortgages and Commercial Loans. She enjoys helping members find the best solutions to their credit requests, and helping them create a plan to reach their financial goals. Lois says her favorite part of her job is being able to visit her members: it is a great experience to see the member’s pride and excitement as they show her their new home, piece of farm equipment, or business.
Her most memorable moment with Churchbridge Credit Union was attending the Celero Conference in Kelowna, BC with Connie and Gaylene. Over the years Lois has contributed countless hours volunteering in her community, her favorite being with the Churchbridge Public School Hot Lunch Program.
What Lois enjoys most about working at the Churchbridge Credit Union is the flexibility surrounding work/home balance that you get working in a smaller organization. Lois lives on the Markusson farm north of Churchbridge with her three daughters.
