As previously announced, Perry Wishlow will be retiring from his position of General Manager of Churchbrige Credit Union in June, 2020. Wendy Lutz, President of the Churchbridge Credit Union Board of Directors, is excited and pleased to announce Ryan Tebbutt as our new CEO. We look forward to working with Ryan in the near future, as he will join us June 1, 2020 after an extensive executive search.
Ryan brings over fifteen years of leadership experience in the financial services industry, and has a proven track record of exceeding objectives and expectations. He has experience in CEO leadership roles at Broadview Credit Union, Strathclair Credit Union, and Kerrobert Credit Union.
Ryan grew up in Whitewood, Saskatchewan. After graduating from high school, he earned a Management and Junior Accounting Certificate and a Diploma in Business Administration, majoring in Financial Services, from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. He has his Fellow of the Credit Union Institute of Canada (FCUIC) Designation, and his Associate of the Credit Union Institute of Canada (ACUIC), as well as his Canadian Securities Certification.
Ryan has specialized in credit union executive leadership, lending, and branch management within the financial and credit union systems. Over his financial career, he has focused on building meaningful partnerships, leading teams who have been recognized for their high achievements and excellence status. He has contributed significantly to exceeding growth targets for multiple consecutive years.
Being a champion of the community, and giving back, is a high priority for Ryan. He has served on local boards and is an active leader in the community. He enjoys participating in activities such as curling, golfing, gardening, and is a truck and vehicle restoration enthusiast. Ryan is excited to be working with the staff, board, and members of Churchbridge Credit Union, and will be relocating to the Churchbridge area with his wife, Lana, and daughter, Gemma.
